These are Adults-only rides.  Riders must be at least age 18 to ride with the group.

Cycling can be an inherently dangerous activity.  If you have been riding long enough, you know there are crashes.  Riders can and do get hurt. We ride in very urban areas with traffic that is not always mindful of cyclists.  Each rider is personally responsible for their own safety.

2011 Scheduled Rides

2011 Scheduled Bike Rides

"Caribou Ride" starting location: Promptly starting from Caribou Coffee on Kercheval in Grosse Pointe.

Saturdays at 0900  Caribou ridde: Downtown loop and off to Belle Isle for a fast lap or four. This is an urban ride of 30-40 miles with surprise detours every now and then.

Sundays at 0900 for a 40 mile, spirited recovery ride with a variable route.  
 
These are self-supported, aggressive / race paced, paceline DROP rides of 2 hours or more.  Riders need to be prepared for multiple flats, have enough water and should have a cell phone.
